  • we recommend flying in and out of denver international airport (dia)
  • there are a number of transit options from the airport to downtown
    • the airport train is $9. it runs every 15 minutes and takes you from the airport main terminal (baggage claim) to union station downtown denver.  it is 1.4 miles from union station to the warwick hotel
    • shared ride services like uber and lyft are typically $30-$40 from the airport to downtown denver
    • taxis from the airport to downtown denver are typically $50-$60
    • super shuttle transports from the airport to downtown denver are typically $30-$35

 

lodging

  • the leadership institute will take place at the warwick hotel in downtown denver.

  • you are also welcome to stay at any hotel of your choice and travel to the warwick hotel for our sessions, which take place 8:30am-4:00pm each day.

  • the denver milk market features 10 gourmet restaurants, ranging from chinese dumplings to handmade pizza in a food court setting (and don’t forget to check out the twinkly lights in the alley!).
  • urban farmer offers a mix of traditional steakhouse and contemporary farm to table food offerings.
  • union station hosts some of the best restaurants in denver, including mercantile, stoic & genuine, ultreia, and kitchen next door.

  • grab a cocktail or afternoon tea at the historic brown palace hotel.
  • cuddle up for a tasty cocktail or snack inside of the cruise ship bar, a historic 1920's bar located in the oxford hotel.
  • denver is famous for its breweries- neighborhoods like rino and lodo offer tons of brewery options. some of our favorites are 10 barrel, epic, and jagged mountain.
  • feeling adventurous? check out the speakeasy retrograde located through a secret door in the frozen matter ice cream shop. you'll be surprised to see what's hiding behind the freezer door.

  • get in the holiday spirit with the denver christkindl market, which features food, gifts, and an ice skating rink.
  • visit union station, a renovated historic building in the heart of downtown denver. it features shops, bars, and restaurants.
  • rino (river north arts district) features tons of bars, restaurants, and street art in an industrial neighborhood turned hipster mecca.
  • the 16th street mall showcases denver's funkier side. this pedestrian mall features street performers, shops, and restaurants.
