engineers can create cool apps, from facebook to snapchat to google maps
they make the things you use on your phone, they make the things you like to own!

some say "girls can’t be engineers"
but best to just avoid their sneers
do what you love and always know
you can go anywhere you want to go!

some say that girls can’t compete,
they think that we can’t take the heat.
but i understand - i code apps by hand,
and being a girl geek is sweeeeet!

some girl engineers wear heels and lipstick
program a robot to do a cool trick
others kick it in their sneakers
you can wear what you want when building features

you’re a creative thinker with ideas that amaze
you design codes that pave new ways
stand tall, don’t be afraid to say outloud,
“i’m a girl geek and rightfully proud.”
