dr. eric williams has served as superintendent of loudoun county public schools, a school district of 94 schools serving more than 83,000 students in northern virginia, since july 2014. dr. williams believes in engaging students in solving authentic and challenging problems as a means to developing as knowledgeable critical thinkers, communicators, collaborators, creators, and contributors. he promotes the joy of teaching and learning in lieu of a test-prep mentality.
dr. roberto padilla, superintendent of the newburgh enlarged city school district
dr. roberto padilla is the superintendent of the newburgh enlarged city school district, an 12,000 student school district along the hudson river in newburgh, ny. dr. padilla is widely recognized for his equity leadership and in supporting school district leaders both nationally and internationally on change leadership. he also sits on the the school superintendent association’s covid-19 national recovery task force.
dr. jenny mcgown, superintendent of klein isd
superintendent dr. jenny mcgown has deep roots in the klein community, a school district of 48 schools serving 54,000 students in northwest harris county, texas. dr. mcgown is dedicated to fulfilling the district’s vision for every student. she believes in a culture of “we not me” - a precursor to unleashing the collective intelligence of the staff and broader community; intelligence that is critical as they work through the current challenges planning for a return to school in the fall.
