the pandemic forced us to adopt distance. in the process it opened our eyes to new ways of teaching and learning. new constraints found us thinking differently about how we build relationships with students, design curriculum, use technology, and support teachers. distance learning failed many students, but helped many others connect with learning in new ways.
today, most districts are managing a range of models from distance, to hybrid to fully in-person. while more complex, this portfolio approach has the potential to reach more students and better support families. this webinar will review and define a range of learning models, share the benefits and considerations of each and propose ideas for how district leaders might maintain a portfolio of models for a more resilient district.
