10 personalized learning superhero snapshots

at 瑞士vs喀麦隆亚盘赔率 we are incredibly fortunate to work with so many exceptional, passionate, and extraordinarily talented people, including teachers, coaches, principals, and district leaders. these amazing people are going above and beyond to transform education, and are helping to write the future through the success of their students.

in our most recent impact report: building capacity for personalized learning and more, we highlight a few exceptional individuals that are instrumental in the successful implementation of personalized learning in their school districts. these people are superheros! check out snapshots of their achievements. each district is in a different phase of their personalized learning implementation, and each of their stories is unique:

  • tom benson, principal school district 197 (mn): tom benson’s school turned an old computer lab into a collaboration space “think tank.” read tom’s story
  • james dallas, director of teaching and learning at loudoun county public schools (va): james dallas says working with 瑞士vs喀麦隆亚盘赔率 has given teachers flexibility to create a learning environment that personalizes the student experience. read james’ s story
  • eric rush, 3rd grade teacher fairbanks north star borough district (ak): eric started a youtube channel to share his personalized learning practices with teachers across the country. read eric’s story
  • kim childress, instructional coach at hartford public schools (ct): kim is all about sharing best practices. when something works, she looks for ways to make sure other schools are hearing about it. read kim’s story
  • antonia stone, principal of corcoran high school (ca): under antonia’s leadership, the high school has led the way in personalized learning. read antonia’s story
  • sofia ramirez, principal at yuma elementary school district one (az): over the past two years, sofia has led her school through the transition to personalized learning. in her words, “at the beginning, we were all very nervous. now it’s a complete turnaround. now we are all on the same page.” read sofia’s story
  • edward mcfarland, area superintendent and shane barham, founding principal of wake county public school system (nc): edward and shane led the work to develop a new school model, rethinking everything from hiring procedures to staff support structures. because of their hard work, rogers lane elementary school will open this fall. read edward and shane’s story
  • trista brundage, 9th grade english teacher, and gordy baxter, 9th grade special education teacher, co-teach ela at geneva city school district (ny): both trista and gordy piloted personalized learning this year and will become district pl coaches next year. read trista and gordy’s story
  • nathan l. nelson, associate principal at simmons-pinckney middle school, charleston county school district (sc): nathan says that the most rewarding part of his school’s shift to personalized learning has been seeing students own their own learning and data. read nathan’s story
  • david o’rourke and scott bischoping are both superintendents of boces in new york. together, they are leading 52 small districts in the shift to personalized learning!  read david and scott’s story.
